Piety, Patience to Help Thwart Enemy Plots
“If patience and piety are practiced by our dear youth, government officials and all the people, the enemy will by no means be able to harm you,” the Leader said at a ceremony at Imam Hussain (AS) Academy in Tehran on Saturday.
“This is [a piece of advice] for all the nation, in particular officials and managers of the Islamic society. Patience means keeping to aims and continuing involvement and active presence; it means considering far future goals,” Ayatollah Khamenei added, according to Khamenei.ir.
“Because you are resisting today, future generations will reach the climax of success; they will reach the climax, but dignity and resistance are yours. The Revolution is lasting and promising in case of patience and piety.”
Elsewhere, the Leader deplored certain regional countries for relying on outsiders, saying, “Giving one’s money to foreign countries, buying their weapons, coming from a far-off country to open a military base, or shedding blood to preserve a dynasty does not represent power! These are examples of foolishness and humiliation rather than power.”
Ayatollah Khamenei then underlined Iran’s power, saying had the Iranian nation not been powerful, a 10th of enemies’ efforts today would be enough to topple the nation’s popular govt. “The biggest proof of the Iranian nation’s power is that Iran progressed while the US failed to do a single thing.
“One more proof of Iran’s power is the coalitions the US has formed in the region. If the US had the power to defeat the Islamic Republic, they wouldn’t need to ally with the disgraceful states in the Middle East to create chaos and insecurity in Iran.”
